How does the virtual analysis work?▾
After booking, you'll receive an email with simple instructions on what photos to send — a front-facing natural-light selfie and a few others. Amba reviews them within 48 hours, applies professional 16-season methodology and sends you your full colour report. Your 15-minute Zoom is then scheduled at a time that suits you.
Is the quiz result accurate?▾
The quiz gives you an educated estimate of your season family — it's a great starting point. But a true colour analysis requires an expert eye looking at your actual skin undertones, hair and feature contrast in good lighting, which is why Amba's virtual analysis uses your photographs reviewed by a professional. The difference in accuracy is significant.
What is the 16-season system?▾
Most colour analysis uses 4 or 12 seasons. The 16-season system goes further, identifying nuances within each season family — for example the difference between True Summer, Soft Summer and Deep Soft Summer — resulting in a far more precise and flattering palette for you specifically.
How long until I receive my report?▾
Within 48 hours of receiving your photos. You'll then receive an email to schedule your 15-minute Zoom consultation at a convenient time.
What does the physical colour card look like?▾
The WOW Colour Card is a beautiful, wallet-sized card printed with your personalised colour palette — your key neutrals, signature shades and accent colours. It's designed to be taken shopping, to your hairdresser, or anywhere you need to check if something is right for your season.
Can I book an in-person analysis instead?▾
Yes — Amba offers in-person colour analysis and full styling sessions in Central London, at Harvey Nichols and Westfield, and worldwide for travel. Get in touch to enquire about in-person options.
